So guys I’ve just been with my doctor and yes I have an infection at the frenulum area the doctor says it’s not to bad though - she prescribed oral antibiotics and painkillers. And to keep area clean. My question is has anyone else got an infection there before? When washing I don’t want to pull the scab off so how do I go about this? She says soap and water

I suggest you to take salt baths daily and dry the wound carefully before apply any ointment on to wound area. Cover still.
Use very mild soap and rinse well.
