7 Days post-circumcision. Is my wound healing okay?

I had a circumcision operation 7 days ago and whilst dealing with pain and a bit of bleeding hasn't been too bad. I'm now a little concerned about my wound healing. It appears to be very moist regularly and the skin just above where the stitches are is cracked and peeling/raw as well as quite itchy at times. It seems I only had a partial because I still need to roll back skin a little to see this. I'm concerned that I might not be getting it clean with not knowing how far I can safely unsheathe.

Unfortunately with today's environment I can't just roll up to the gp and earliest app is another 7 days. Should I be concerned? What should I expect from healing?

Give it time, keep it clean and visit your doctor when you can. If you think it is infected (signs could be heat, pus, pain and smell), see your doc urgently.

Hey bud. It’s normal for you to see like a clear watery liquid, as well as a yellowish fluid where the frenulum was. It’s part of the healing process as long as you don’t perceive a bad smell, or anything like that you’ll be okay! I also had a partial, so move the skin back carefully, don’t push it. As days go by you’ll be able to move it more and more up to where you can see the stitches, just don’t force it

Yeah it’s very normal for it to swell up. Swelling will go down as days go by, it’s a matter of patience Using tight underwear and placing your penis up, pointing towards your stomach helps with the swelling.

Also applying ice indirectly can help (never directly to the skin) for the first week.

I’m now on day 10. I had a full circumcision, I’ve been bathing in salt water and making sure the wound area is in water for 10-15 mins twice a day now for the last 3 days. What an amazing difference I’ve noticed in the healing and cleanliness!!
