Question about penile torsion

Thanks to this site and people who were kind to help me i learned that i, who is 21 years old, have a penile torsion (moderate to severe) where my penis is 45ish degrees counter clockwise. And now i have question of whenever i should have surgery or not even though i dont feel pain because of torsion? And also would women, you know, find it strange if i have penile torsion?

What is your doctor advising?

When he asked about whenever i feel pain when moving, during sex and etc. I said i feel fine. And to be honest he said its ok. But is it really though?

Any surgery has risks. If you are currently functioning fine, I’d opt to avoid any intervention.

Yeah, you are right. To be honest i am really scared of surgery because besides fixing torsion, doctors will also circumcise me if i remember correctly

Do you actually need a circumcision? Surely they can’t just perform one without your permission.

I read somewhere that you first need to be circumcised to have any surgeries that are related to penis. Maybe they circumcise for health reasons? Dunno

I can find nothing mandating circumcision for a torsion operation in the UK.. A torsion does not effect your reproductive abilities and, if mild, does not require surgical intervention. You would be well advised to follow your GPs advice.

The doctors may say this because it will be easier for them. If you’re not having problems don’t get surgery.

I would not advise surgery if it’s not bothering you. Woman might actually find it pleasureable......many toys for females are bent in rather unnatural ways to bring about different pleasures with a woman. I’d think about it that way...
