I am 17 years old and when I am not erect I can easily retract the foreskin over my glans, but when I am erect I cannot. It gets thight about half way on the glans and I am afraid to pull it any further, I have heard this is not normal, but I am afraid if I pull further it will get stuck behind the glans.
Is this normal? And if not , what can I do about it?

Yeah pretty normal, all are different to be honest. You can do some small excercises to stretch it I think but if you can get it pulled back soft I don't think it be too tight tbh.
Hi if you try some stretching and see how it goes take it slowly. If it doesn't improve after some time ask you GP's advice they can prescribe some steroid cream which would help.
Step 3 in the link above is a good one but a the combination of all three or whichever one you find best yourself. doing this in the shower would also help and perhaps using a little lubrication. If things don't improve then ask your GP they can prescribe some steroid creams which would really help.
You're in the natural state of development, so there's no reason for alarm. Simple stretching exercises will enlarge the opening to permit easy and painless retraction with erections. For success, do this 2-3 minutes, 4 times per day. Once you reach your goal, continue 6 more weeks to allow times for new skin cells to mature and become permanent.
You may find you have no physical problem when it comes to intercourse. As long as you can retract when soft, cleaning should be straightforwards, as long as your partner is well lubricated, either naturally or with intimate lube, - you don't say masturbation is a problem, so I suggest gentle stretching while rubbing yourself, maybe with coconut oil, with a day or two resting between sessions to allow the skin to adjust. Make sure you don't force anything or you may overstretch and cause damage which starts a vicious cycle, making things worse.
