My 2nd week is now done. Still quite swollen and tender under and around the ferelium. Seem to have an oedema on the shaft which is unsightly, sore to touch and adds to the swelling. I thought this would have reduced in size by now but many of the posts here suggest that this can happen and takes maybe a month or longer to subside.
The gauze is now gone and that took a few days to get used to - I’m back at work as only had a week off. Not painful - more distracting with the odd bit of discomfort from shaven hair which now-feels like full on spikes rather than stubble that irritate the head and ferenium.
Walking is ok now - still very aware of movement but glad I pushed through the pain of rubbing on the underwear during week 1. Bad move wearing jeans today - won’t be doing that again for at least a week.
Night time erections don’t hurt at all - who hoo! They were so sore in the first week - was not aware I get 5 of these every night - until I woke in agonising pain through them in week one.
Still looks a bit mangled - with scabs forming and stitches disappeared. Pretty happy with progress I suppose / although it’s only from reading posts on here that I have realised that my healing (slow - sore and unsightly as everything thing is ) it’s probably normal.
I want to be playing cricket 🏏 in two weeks from now - that’s the target - hopefully swelling and oedema settle this or next week
