5 weeks post circumcision. Erection feels tight. Is this normal?

95%+ of my scabs on the incision line are gone. My erections feel mostly okay but if I am rock hard, I feel tight and restricted around the scar line. I feel a little shorter than before. I feel like I can't reach my full potential like before. I am hoping doctor didn't remove too much skin.

It will set over time. Skin needs to get some stretching

How is the sensitivity of glans? Are you able to wear underwear?

Hey, what's up Anxited?! It's me. I iust started wearing boxers yesterday. Was wearing mostly "boxer briefs" before. Glans is still sensitive in the sense that I feel a slight discomfort if fabric rubs against it but I'm able to walk, work out, and do most of my day-to-day activities normally. I just am careful how I put on/take off underwear and how I dry myself. I may clench my teeth if something rubs against glans too much but otherwise it's not anything like first 3 weeks where I was yelling in agony, lol.

I am on day 25 buddy My erections were tight and painful during initial days

Now its still tight but there isn’t much pain as before

My doc said that its normal and I don’t need to worry about it

The only trouble I have now is glans sensitivity

The tightness feeling (almost painfully restricted) feeling around the scar is normal. The skin as it heals tends to adhere to the underlying tissues. It will ease up over the next few months.

And a real tight cut is okay. As your physically and mentally adjust to the new skinless (foreskinless) status you will start to explore once again on how best to stimulate yourself abd attain orgasms. This will involve some inadvertent pulling, and rubbing which may cause slight pain and burn sensation at the scar adhesion but eventually it will also cause some skin stretching.

Invariably the skin loosens a little over time. But a loose cut doesn’t feel good physically and visually. A tight (but comfortable) feel is optimal... and you will eventually get there.

So be patient. Your response is natural but avoid thinking and focusing on it. In fact avoid thinking about it for as many weeks/months as you can and let your body adjust. It will turn out okay.
