4 months post op circumcision

My boyfriend got circumcised back in august of 2020 and he is left with a bumpy scar line. It has raised bumps all along the scar line and I know he’s insecure about it. I honestly don’t mind it all and tell him maybe with time they will go away. I just want some advice on how to help him with these bumps. I messaged his surgeon and he said it will go away with time but is there anything I can buy for him that can help the bumpy scar go away quicker? I honestly just want him to feel better about his penis. Thanks.

The scar can settle and deform 18-24 months post-op. Tell him to keep the scar line moisturized first six months at least. He can use any fragrance free moisturizer or use silicone scar sheet.

Hi Jay, it should improve in time keep it moisturised I found Bio-Oil good or E45 massage it in everyday the scar will become soft and supple in time.

I started using Bio Oil twice a day everyday after a month of my surgery! It’s been 7 months now and my scar is almost smooth!
