Hello everyone.

I am 17 years old and I have a question about my foreskin.

When I am not erect I don't have any problems with pulling back the foreskin but when I am erect I cannot. It will only go half way before it becomes somewhat painfull and I don't want to force it bcs I am afraid it will get stuck behind the glans.

Is this a problem? It doesn't hurt when mastrubating.

You will need to see a doctor and he may prescribe a steroid cream to use with stretching exercises

Not a great problem. Keep gently trying retraction to stretch the narrow part. Try washing with plain water only. If it doesn't resolve over the next year or so steroid creams might be an option.

It will do you no harm to consult a Dr, but when I asked same question I was told as I could pull back when not erect it was not a problem.

Generally a waste of both time and money to see a doctor about something so simple. Do basic stretching exercises ... such as the ones shown here:
