15 months post circumcision surgery

It’s been over a year, and I still have an incision scar that is not completely flat nor blending in with the rest of my skin. Is this normal? Also the now exposed part of my penis get melanated or darker? I noticed it’s not has pink as it was before the foreskin was removed. I would add pictures but i don’t see an option to

Have you tried reducing the scar with silicone gel scar sheets?

I hear you pal, I'm almost 14 months in and my scar is rough, tight and hurts during sex. Been rubbing a lot of bio oil for the last few months but the effect is almost minimal, still have the rubber band effect. Saw someone said they have to go under the knife again to fix, so might have to go back in for a consultation. Also used betnovate to thin the band earlier but it was getting allover my guy n didn't want all over to thinout so I stopped using. Let me know if you got over ur issue naturally please. Thanks bro.
