I had a circumcision done 9 days ago. The wound has healed well and is scabbed and the stitches are beginning to loosen. I wash the wound and glans twice a day with salt water and I apply Nuban ointment 3 times a day. It's just the frenulum that looks a bit tender. How long will the frenulum take to dry up like the rest of the wound? And is there anything I can do to help with the itchy/pully sensation of the stitches and scabs?
Also I have yellow slough (discharge) on my glans that gets hard. I saw my GP about it and he said it's not an infection, but did give me a four day course of antibiotics to help dry it out. How long does it take for the yellow slough to clear up?, the slough causes my glans to stick to my underwear which causes bruising on my glans.
Thanks.

I have to say that prescribing of antibiotics to improve a wound that is not infected is strange!
Your situation is all about time. You are still early in the healing process and the frenulum area is usually the last to recover. Keep it clean and give it time. Take care.
I am on day 15 now most of the wound has closed up nicely. Most stitches have fallen off. It's just the frenulum that looks raw and is moist and has a spot of blood hear and there. And the remaining stitches are still on the frenulum area.
How long till I start to see an improvement on the frenulum? And what steps can I take to help with it's healing?
As I said before, it really is just a matter of tine. As long as you are keeping everything clean then healing will happen in accordance with your own body. Each man is different.
