Hi there, I’m a 17 year old who’s foreskin won’t retract. I’m worried about having sex with it so I wanted to get it checked out. My dilemma is wether I need to have my parents there and tell them what it’s for, as I wouldn’t know how to have that conversation about it. My other option is too wait a few months till I’m 18, just trying to get an idea of what to do

It depends which country you live in as to whether you need parental consent to see the doctor for a discussion and again for any treatment.
In most countries the age of consent (when you alone give consent) is 18, but in a few (such as the UK) it is 16.
However, it is always a good idea if you live with your parent(s) to engage with them on this sort of matter so that they can give you maximum support in whatever you decide to do.
Hi all you got to say to you Mother is A man's Problem mum, if she asks tell her she knows you inside out, Lol Just ask her you want to see your Family Doctor, Take care & Wear your Mask
As a reccomendation, dont hide this matter from your parents. It can be embarasing for some people but is always better to have someone to support yourself, and most in these kind of topics.
You don't need to involve your parents. Keep up the gentle attempts at retraction so as to stretch the skin. You will get there.
