Does anyone one have a lack of pre-cum? It's not life threatening or anything but in a way it's nature's lube. Good for masturbation and penetration but I used to enjoy seeing it ooze out as part of sexual activity. My understanding is that pre-cum is fluid produced by the Cowper’s glands underneath the prostate. This is to neutralise the acidic effect of urine on sperm in the anticipated ejaculate.
If you’re not producing much semen volume compared to the past it might be worth checking your prostate if it’s a concern.

My experience with and knowledge of pre-cum is that it is produced by the Cowper's gland. If it were produced by the prostate, I would have lost it six years ago, after RP. I never got an erection since then, but still produce copious amounts of "lube".

I noticed that same thing with my penis after I was circumcised. Since my circumcision I barely have any pre cum. I never had a fountain, but now sometimes none at all.
I would gladly give up that ability, over being circumcised. I would never want to go back to having my foreskin.
I kept my foreskin retracted for 5 years when I could. For the next 9 years I kept it retracted 100% of the time. During those years is when I had the most pre cum. Then I had myself circumcised, after my circumcision is when I started to notice my lack of pre cum.
I don’t know what if any connections there is between being circumcised and lack of pre cum. For those 9 years that I retracted, my penis was almost the same as being circumcised.

I have been circumcised for 52 years, my sensitivity is today is about what it has always been. While driving I can feel my glans gently moving sometimes against my underwear. Sometimes I can feel that I am circumcised as my glans is so aware of being exposed all the time. I love that feeling.
When I first started to pull my foreskin back, I was around 8 and old. My penis always felt good with the foreskin retracted. I never had any real sensitivity issues. Perhaps this was the result of my mother always pushing my foreskin back at every bath. It was just part of her washing me. I have always been very sensitive on my glans but in a positive good way. Keeping it foreskin retracted always felt good. Keep your foreskin retracted as much as possible, in time it will learn to stay back all the time. When you are used to being bare all the time it will feel strange to you to cover again. You will want to expose again if it ever covers. At least for me I was that way.

Best not to have surgery if you can help it. But it's necessary for some. I've found having the foreskin retracted afer a while it peels itself like it's got a mind of it's own! The beast. They seem to do that, develop a preference to being retracted. If it had a choice of its own it would retract almost on its own or with very little coaxing. Mine felt normal retracted, and uncomfortable if I moved it forward. Just something was not right with the glans covered after a short period of keeping the skin back.
