Circumcsion at 31 did i do the right thing? Got offered steriod cream 2 days before the op by a different doctor.

Ok so i had a circumcision done about 3 months ago now and its starting to feel numb and the sex especially when i wanna cum feels not the same way i have sufferd from phimosis for a few years only getting the odd pain here and there but i could live with it i think i may start to regret this decision

What style of circumcision do you have? Frenelum intact or removed? Did you try stretching before surgery?

Tbh they didnt give me an option on what circumcsion i wanted so im unsure but i will post a pic if thats cool with everyone and i kinda tried the stretching 2 years previous to this op i just hope my sex life ect doesnt plummit its good to talk to you guys about this

You can look around the forum and compare if you're uncomfortable sharing pictures. In general there is low vs high and then loose vs tight. Google these terms and you'll understand. Did you keep all your frenelum?

Hey Man, the phimosis would probably have only got worse over time. you tried the stretching and it didn't work. Don't worry too much it's still early for you and you're still healing inside. I remember feeling numb as well for some time it takes a little while to get used to everything that has changed it could take up to a year before everything feels good again and you get used to it. you will need to use lube when you are using him this will help your sensitivity.

There really is no need to share a pic. You have had the circumcision and it’s done. Your glans will have changed its surface due to being exposed all the time. You say you were offered a steroid cream 2 days before the op. I guess that doc thought that using it and stretching might possibly help avoid a circumcision. The style of circumcision would not affect the fact that your glans now has no cover but some guys love talking about it.

That doctor who offered me the cream two days before was a different doctor to the one who put me in for the circumcision i felt abit confused but yeah im just looking for some reasurrance really its not that i like talking about it although thats what this forum was made for to talk

Hey Man that's very normal to have feelings like that. I remember the first few weeks especially I said to myself what have I done it will never be the same again but it does improve and now I couldn't be happier. it will be different but you adapt. Don't beat yourself up too much about it you probably had some scarring the steroid cream doesn't work as well then and you had it for a few years. The forum is here to help and support you and give you reassurance in any aspect of your health not just physical. it is about talking with guys who have had similar experiences sharing photos can explain a situation better than trying to explain in a Post. You will have lots of different opinions on this forum but the main thing is remember it's good to talk👍🏻

I think it will improve for you in time it's still early days for you. You are lucky you have the support of your girlfriend that means a lot dose she likes your new tool, a lot of girls love it when guys are cut Bj are great. There's not much point in dwelling on the what if or what I could of done the best thing is to in braces what you have and move on. The sex part will be different use lots of lube, condom are not great but never was for me, take it slow and easy build the tension I find orgasms are way better now much stronger, I last longer now,

You could look into restoration or something called manhood to cover your glans. Or maybe try vaseline but might be sticky.

I was cut 9 years ago and initially it feels different/more numb but with time it comes back and the intensity of climax grows. Its hard to describe but for me I would say its a deeper sense of pleasure than prior. I would never go back. Hope you have the same experience. By the way, steriod cream didn't work for me and caused other problems as it thins the skin.

Hey thank you for replying to my post i just every now and then regret my decision and i worry and put pressure on myself i did have the opportunity of the cream but i was already booked in for the surgury and after talking to few close friends who were like its just abit of skin i went through with it not saying its there fault anyways i hope mine gets better in time to

My only regret was not having it done sooner. Give it a bit of time and hopefully you'll love it! By the way, there is a group forum called intercirc or inter-circ. Currently you'll find them either on groups.io or reddit (they are just in the process of changing platform). Mostly discussion, questions etc for men cut as adults.

I don't understand how removing skin can make it better unless it was painful before. You last longer and you climax harder but feel less in between. Pretty sure you can get there without surgery. Personally it's been 6 months now without any improvement.

Yes you possibly should have tried the cream but sometimes circumstances overtake you. Mine was due to possible Penile cancer and from initial diagnosis to Surgery was a less than two weeks. So no real time to research.

I would say make the most of what you got, it does take time but things will improve.

How will it improve? And yes circumstances do overtake you at times i feel like a complete dumbarse but i have to make good of what ive got now

You will improve in time don't let it consume your head Man the what ifs. you just have to move on and don't dwell on the past sometimes it needs to be done in your case it was the best decision, just give it time.
