triming before circumcision
Trimming is probably a good idea as there is less chance of hairs getting stuck in the wound.
It is always a good idea to trim (but not shave) your pubes quite short a day of two before your circumcision so that hairs will not get caught in the dressing.
However, if you will be given a general anaesthetic in hospital for the circumcision, they will almost certainly shave your pubes as part of the routine.
My doctor is doing the surgery with general anesthesia. So does that mean they will shave all the hair on your penis, groin, and scrotum? What did you do?
Your doctor may shave you or might not, it’s up to him. In most hospital operating theatres shaving the surgical site is routine, but if in doubt then trim your pubes.
I was circumcised with a local anaesthetic and nothing had been said about pubic hair. However, it was the practice of the school doctor to shave every boy's pubes before circumcising him.
It doesn't matter but .. trimming still ok though..
