I'm day 8 into post op recovery now. My current and main problem is peeing; I need to push it to come out and from the inside it feels as if the pee doesn't know how to come out (as if the place where the pee comes out from is sealed or something). It does eventually come out but it sprays everywhere and I'd experience pain with the initial pee release. I am so freaked out by it... It made me/makes me really scared. Please help me make sense of it and tell me if there is an action I can take on it.
Thank you in advance!

Also this began only today (my first day without a dressing on, as recommended by my surgeon). The past 7 days were fine in that sense but now I'm dead scared.
Hi mate by the sounds of it you just need to relax down there and don’t force the pee out of your penis. You must still have a large amount of swelling still down there. Don’t give soo much force drink plenty of fluids and just try to relax down there.
Before I got circumcised I used to try to pee sometimes and I would put too much force into it where I would struggle to pee and it would hurt after I finally passed urine because of the force I did to release the pee.
But definitely please don’t worry drink plenty of water. For the spraying issue you can sit down to pee but for me I did not want to do if you can get yourself a jug and pass the urine into the jug make sure it’s a decent size to accommodate the amount of urine you pass.
Standing up may even help you pass the urine easier.
If you use the jug method monitor the colour of your pee and the amount you are passing. If you are still really struggling to pass urine contact your doctor. But by the sounds of it you just need to relax and take your time to pass the pee.
I am at week 4 this week and I have a similar situation myself right now.
In week 1 and 2 the gland of my Penis was quite swollen so the first time I peed after the Op it felt like it was backing up inside and then came bursting out - I put this down to the swelling as the issue went away with the swelling.
Now I have a situation where there is a yellow scabbing round my urethra opening which is causing the symptoms you describe. In the morning the hole is closed and the first pee breaks this. Pee can go everywhere but a gentle squeeze (thumb and forefinger) can solve this.
Gentle bathing with boiled salt water may help.
Sorry I don't have a solution for you but you are not alone.
You are in very early stages of healing, swelling caused this after my circumcision. It WILL resolve. What I suggest, and did was sitting on toilet, instead of standing. Wishing rapid recovery & good health. It will improve
I’m having problems with that too, I called my doctor yesterday and he said I had an infection called hematuria where the urethra tube is inflamed and it causes your pee to spray everywhere... also I peed a with a little blood at then end so he got me some antibiotics hopefully they cure this thing.
It is perfectly normal to spray for the first couple of weeks after circumcision due to the swelling distorting your meatus (piss slit). It is advisable to sit to urinate until the spray turns into a coherent jet, as it will eventually do.
Sometimes the meatus appears to have stuck together, in which case gently squeeze the top and bottom of your penis near the tip to open the meatus before you start urinating.
