Day 12 post circumcision is it ok to keep your penis upright pointing towards your belly until you heal.?

Yes. At least if it's easy for you to keep it pointing upright. It may help with the swelling. Fluid between wound and glans can easier flow back to your groins by gravity where lymph nodes are located.

Thank you for the reply is it normal for my penis to be a bit discolored a bit white on the head of my penis

It could be possible, but it's very hard to say anything cause we have different skin colours on earth. Some may have pink-ish glans another one light brown-ish. Anyway your glans can be different colour now when the foreskin was peeled off. You can ask your local healthcare provider more information about your healing.

It is not only OK but highly recommended to allow excess lymph to drain away and reduce swelling.
