Penis and scrotum not right 6 weeks after injury. How long will a complete healing take if at all and what could it possibly be?

6 weeks ago I gave my half erect penis a casual flick whilst getting changed. Caused me noticeable discomfort at the base on the right hand side. My right testicle seems to have enlarged and is moving weirdly, more forward and sitting sideways almost. The discomfort was bad for the first 3/4 weeks but now it’s just in the background. Definitely diminished but it causes me discomfort throughout the day.

The area below the penis where the scrotum starts looks very sunken in compared to how it was before. I accidentally pinched the top nerve of the left testicle whilst examining it and that side has felt weird ever since.

I have had an ultrasound done and apparently everything was normal. No twisting. Two urologists states it was in my head and one said possible ligament injury which would take 3 months to heal.

The key word being possible. I’ve had no answers, just waiting around to be prodded by strangers only to be told it could be this or that or it’s all in your head.

I’m quite worried and not sure what to do about this. What are the possibilities that I am left with? Everything still works as normal, angle of the dangle seems a bit...different and the testicles definitely feel odd and funny and misplaced. When the scrotum moved the skin bunches up in a way I’ve never seen nor ever felt. I’m sure guys sit there stroking their scrotums more than they would care to admit.

How long should I give it and should I keep it all supported? So many questions. This is just weighing heavy on me and nobody is seeming to understand. As a 24yo I am finding this very debilitating.

I would appreciate any experiences or concerns or opinions anyone would have.

Thank you guys, stay safe

You sound as if you are overthinking things. That can often lead to functional overlay If it does not heal within the mentioned time then have a further consultation.

Do you mean the scrotum gets pulled towards the penis shaft when you get an erection as there is now less foreskin?

Mine is the same. I noticed that my scrotum skin moves up the base of the shaft so the testicles get moved to the left and right side of the penis. Is this normal for most circumcised guys? I’ve not asked my doctor about it.
