Circumcision after two days
You can expect these issues only 2 days after surgery.
Was you ever able to fully expose your glans prior to surgery?
Bruising will slowly decrease over the next few days to a couple of weeks. Sensitivity will slowly decrease as time goes on. If you struggle to sleep or lay or sit down you could apply a new bandage and gauzes around your penis to keep it comfortable for yourself. You can continue to place a new fresh bandage on your penis daily twice a day after cleaning go help make it bearable for the first week or two untill you take the plunge to desensitise your glans when you wear underwear. This is totally your choice you don’t have to put a new bandage on after you remove the pressure bandage on your 3rd day. When you dry your penis you can use a clean hand towel to help your glans get used to the touch of clothing rubbing it. If you really struggle to dry it you can use a hair dryer if it’s really unbearable to touch and dry it. Use the hair dryer on a warm setting not hot.
But definitely the sensitivity will decrease as you heal so it’s more comfortable. Once you feel you are ready at around a week or two you can really desensitise your glans when you start wearing underwear with no padding around your penis.
Keep your penis clean and dry. You can place your penis vertically to help reduce swelling but also it will help decrease the sensitivity with your penis rubbing against your body.
All the best on your recovery. Stay safe and well
Thanks a lot for valuable tips. No, I wasn't able to fully expose my glance before surgery and I guess that's why my glance is so sensitive now
You are very welcome. Yes same I had phimosis never able to fully expose my glans our glans are very sensitive because they have never saw the light of day. my circumcision was done 9 weeks ago. The sensitivity will definitely decrease.
Keep up the great work. I wish you very best luck on your recovery.
