Circumcision journey day 17

So this is part 5 i think of my posts on my circumcision journey. Day 17 now all good im moving about fine back to work etc, only concern that my stitches still havent fallen out. Read alot on here its meant to happen before 2 weeks, if they havent fallen out by day 21 might call my gp. Theyre actually loose now too and I’m tempted to try and pull out myself, some particularly near the frenulum side are a awful yellow colour too from where all the bleeding puss etc has been on them. Balanitis (soreness near the tip of the penis) Also still healing but when i bandage up if it sticks to it and i have to pull off can cause bleeding as it still isnt fully recovered! Annoying. And my only other concern is as i had a torn frenulum, it is still not recovered it looks like a bump hanging off a little bit, i believe the stitches were supposed to stick it back onto the penis but half of it still isnt stuck directly onto the penis for example i can push it down then it looks normal. No pain or anything, just looks abit weird i think and can still see the stitches around it. Anyone had similar problem? Also some small scabbing around some of the stitches.

I didn't lose all my stitches till like day 21. Every thing else sounds about right. Not sure if u have balanitis bc that more infection prob just some soreness.

However overall think u are on track.

Oh okay cool thanks alot and when i got circumcised they confirmed balanitis had this affecting me from before circumcision. Getting better from before though👍

Do try to remove the remaining stitches as they have done their job and now only contribute to creating stitch tunnels and swelling.

Depending on suture, mine broke apart and fell out. For me it was in shower or with gentle cleansing. We all heal differently and suture types do matter. All suture holes will fill in and will be unnoticeable after time-thank you for sharing and helping Someone who has been circumcised as an adult

Im on day 9 my frenulum is similar to how you have described yours, abit like a small flap of skin underneath im hoping its just the swelling and will shrink over time. My sensitivity is still super unbearable even wearing tight underwear isnt great resorted to going commando in a nighty I stole from my nan :') Im back to work in a couple days but its gunna be difficult cause my job is entirly heavy lifting and I walk about 40000+ steps a night whilst dragging around heavy pallets of stock but currently struggle to walk to the shops.

Be careful, my frenulum was last area to heal after my circumcision. All my frenulum was removed as it needed to be. It will be last area to heal, at least for me. And yes it will be extremely sensitive until keratinization starts. Swelling takes time, everyone heals differently. I kept myself exposed to air as much as possible and clean as much as possible. As I suggest, turn back to shower if that’s how you wash. See Dr if not better-I truly hope you heal soon and then you WILL be fine

Hi, im on day 26 now and feeling fine its still early days for you though so just power through it, i was just in a dressing gown couldnt bare wearing anything because it was so sensitive the first 2 weeks. As for the frenulum at first it was really sensitive and would still have dry bleeding etc but it seems fine now but still doesnt look pleasing on the eye same way you described like a flap of skin. But everything ive read on here says that part takes longest to heal so nothing to worry about hopefully goes down soon. If i was u id stay off work for longer, i didnt do anything till after 2 weeks i was basically walking like i shit myself for ages Lol everything slow motion but it gets better just have to be patient

The frenulum will heal. It was last to heal for me and of course extremely sensitive. Give it a bit more time. If it looks like pus, you may need Dr. It could be just healing. If any bad odor, call Dr. Depending how much frenulum was removed, it will come together nicely as swelling resolves.

My urologist rang litteraly a hour I posted to follow up and has signed me off till the end of october now so that will give me a decent chunk of time for it to heal. Plus pretty sure im recovering from general anesthetic addiction first time iv ever had it but I miss it more than I miss my partner xD
