Generally , it is up to the doc and his method of conducting the type of circ. You may want to discuss the options better with him . As far as I know there are no complications to any types regarding erection quality , ejaculating and low libido. These problems usually have other reasons and i dont think the technique or type will help out in this aspect. Your frenulum breve and phimosis will definitely be resolved though . All the best !
To judge by the traffic here the major complication is from having too much skin removed. That would be the conversation I would be having with the surgeon.
Whatever the style of circumcision you will NOT lose 60-70% of your sexual sensitivity; at the most it will be less than 20%. What you will lose over time is the excessive sensitivity to ordinary, everyday touch which can make daily hygiene painful. The more your glans comes into contact with clothing, your hand, etc the faster your brain can 'tune out' this excessive sensitivity as it does for the rest of your skin.
I think i need to research for this more 🧐, as many People on this forum complaint that they don’t feel not very much and some says sensitivity increased, and what I conclude from that it is something with the style of cut 🤨
Thats why i was curious and looking for more people opinions
Well obviously if you’re having surgery because you have phimosis then the tight part is what’ll be removed. If it’s difficult to retract then that’ll also dictate how the procedure is performed and where the cut line will be, i.e. it could be that the surgeon will have to cut down and then around the glans. This will result in a low cut.
Generally patients only get to choose a style when they have a functioning foreskin and opt for elective ‘cosmetic’ surgery.
I was cut low and tight. I didn't know about styles when I had it done but I would go with high and tight. I love being cut but would've preferred more inner foreskin be left as you have more sensitivity.
Loss of sensitivity is a highly subjective experience. Since you have medical issues circumcision will provide an improved sex life. Most adult circumcisions are low cut; the important thing is the doctor does a cosmetically acceptable job.
