I recently was diagnosed with ED. Started taking the “pills” to help with erections snd when I was younger I was good with 7” and good girth. After taking the pills they stopped working and went to the shots. They kinda worked but still not the best after using them for months I got tired of the pain and stopped using them and went back to cialis now I’ve noticed I’ve shrunk about 2 inches and lost girth too. It’s destroying my sex life and I’ve also noticed bumps on top of the shaft and on the side it’s concaved in some. It’s horrible and I’ve seen a urologist but he was like well unfortunately that can happen. I disagree with him and I’m looking for a new urologist. Has anyone else out there noticed anything like this before. I’ve read online that ur dr can give u a shot for erections and do a dobbler ultrasound to see if maybe there’s a blood flow problem preventing ur full length girth. Just curious if anyone out there has had this problem
Thanks

Sorry to hear that. It seems like there should be something out there to help. My wife told me there’s a tendon or something that they can cut with surgery to give a little but I think it’s got to do with blood flow. I’m looking for a new urologist to see if he has any ideas
Starwarsguy there is surgery you mention, it involves cutting the suspensory ligament of the penis. It’s where your penis joins the abdomen. From what I understand, it can increase your flaccid hang but makes an erect penis a bit “wobbly “
Oh ok. I couldn’t remember the name of it but thanks for the information. Sounds like that wouldn’t help my problem. But thanks for letting me know what the name of that is
Hey, 50 yr old here, same situation. I wasnt sure if the loss of size was due to softer hard ons when meds were not used. I think I have lost about 1 inch, and definitely a grower now.
I just can’t figure out what to do. I’ve seen my urologist and his only suggestion was a penile implant but I’m afraid I’ll lose even more length and girth.
wow that does seem a bit drastic to have an implant,, was this on the advice from the urologist you did not like or from a new one? Dont have to answer this,, but you mentioned this was all rather recent, I was wondering if the loss in erections followed an incident? I know when I have failed to get hard in the past the pressure was on for the next time and that caused me some issues for a while,
No this has been going on for a couple of years. And I went to my urologist and he said the implant would rid me of any curverture(which btw is very minimal) and get rid of indentions and hard spots but the fact that I’ve already lost almost 2 inches he said with a implant there’s a chance of losing a little more. I don’t know of anyone who’s had a implant before I’d like to talk to someone who has had one but according to my dr he says guys that have them r very satisfied with them. Plus once u go to a implant there is no turning back. So it’s kinda of a scary thing knowing that that’s it forever I mean u would think that u could pump it up to where u were before but apparently it doesn’t work that way. So idk what to think or so
have you tried stretching exercises? data seems to suggest some guys find them useful,, I agree with you if your curvature is minimal then thats best left alone.
