Urologist appt.
That certainly was quick! Hope all goes well for you.
Wow! That’s the fastest elective operation I have ever known. Best wishes for a successful op.
That's good! You'll soon be sorted and recovering like lots of us here!
Good luck with it. I’m nearly 2 months now. I ended up with a low cut just behind the head due to phimosis from LS. Just looking at your photo and it does look tight. Do you know what they plan to do for you?
Apparently they will cover it at my pre assessment I'm having on Thursday. The surgeon I saw today isn't the one doing it as he got me in to a different hospital to speed up the process so meeting the actual surgeon on Thursday.
Please keep writing here every stage.
And also good luck. All will be fine
Hey, I’m 12 days post op and I gotta say, it’s really not as bad as I thought it would be! It’s scary to see your dick look different at first and you’ll have a lot of concerns but this forum really helped me to figure out what was normal. Do yourself a favor and buy lots of gauze to help in the beginning to cushion it, especially at night to sleep. As the days go on use less and less to let your very sensitive glans get more and more used to the way it feels outside of the foreskin. Also get Tylenol and Advil and every four hours take 400mg alternating. The pain was very well managed for me, I only felt discomfort most of the time. Also once you can take a shower, start off lukewarm on the warmer side and work your way up to warmer and warmer to again help with the glans getting used to direct contact.
Hey, thanks mate I appreciate the advice. Got a couple of days before I need to self isolate before the procedure so going to call in to town and collect what I need. Will keep you updated!
Very quick indeed, when I went for mine they scheduled me 40 days out, I’m now 3 weeks post op and feeling great, I’m still quite swollen but it’s pretty normal for the timeline. Just know the first 2 weeks are the worse, once you pass the 2 week mark and stitches come out you’ll be feeling much better.
Ive tried creams and stretching. It never helped.
It doesn’t for everyone, but for some it does. That’s great, people should do what they are comfortable with.
Me too, it was definitely a last resort for me as continued use of steroid creams were not working, in fact becoming less effective over time. Also on the occasion I could use an erection I’d end up sore and swollen. At least you have the benefit of information from the forum before you see your consultant Thursday. Hope it goes well.
