3 days post circ - dressing off -swollen frenulum- slight bleeding from one stitch

hey everyone, managed to get my dressing off after 3 days. the frenulum seems extra swollen and there was a slight bleed which went away. I wrapped it in a paper towel and held upright and things seem better.

anyone had an extra swollen frenulum and/or a slight bleed from the frenulum?

could it be the anesthesia injection which was given to further numb some of the pain I got while being stitched?

Bleeds can occur anywhere along the incision line or the stitch sites . Don't worry about them and only be concerned if it's more than little amounts and if its constantly oozing . During the normal op , the frenulum also undergoes trauma and suturing so you can expect it to swell and bleed a little. It will all come down as your body starts healing . If your are still worried , you might want to check with your doc otherwise what you are describing is pretty much part of the healing process. I highly doubt an injection would still cause a bleed on day 3. Don't worry much and take care. Hope this helped ! Cheers !
