12 days ago I got circumsized using the stapler gun method.
Whenever I get erections they feel tight. pre-op my length was around 5.8 inches but now it's around 4.8-5 max. My frenulum also hurts a bit when I get erect, even though my frenulum never caused pain before the operation. Could it be because of the staples surrounding my frenulum? My question is, if I had no issues with my frenulum pre-op, is there a possibility that the circumcision somehow caused it to be tighter (and maybe too tight)? Thanks!

12 days is very early in the healing process. I'd urge you to give yourself some time to recover. I lost some length directly after my circumcision, but mine returned as things evened out. At this point erections are still traumatic to your healing, so I'd suggest you avoid them as much as possible. As I recall, it took a good 3 or 4 months for everything to normalize. I had a more traditional free-hand circ with stitches however.
Thanks! my doctor told me that erections might actually help in the recovery, is there truth to that? I try to avoid erections but when I am asleep and after waking up in the morning I cannot avoid them! haha
When did you first start masturbating and how painful was it from 1-10?
Well, if your doctor said they help, believe him. I know what you mean about the night time ones. The first week, I would be popped out of bed 2-3 times a night! I will say, after my circ, my frenulum was too tight and pulled down on the tip of my penis when I got an erection. After about six months, I had a second procedure to detach it and that helped tremendously. The recovery from that was much quicker and less painful, but definitely give yourself time to heal before you look at further revisions. How are you doing on sensitivity?
oh that's terrible! I really don't want to get another procedure done if possible. Was your frenulum already tight before the circumcision? Mine wasn't, but now it is, which confuses me. I will take your advice and wait a few months.
Sensitivity is okay. I can walk almost like normal and with ocassional stings here and there. Overall I can work and function but I'm taking it easy.
Annoyingly enough, mine wasn't tight before either. I'd actually requested the doctor remove it, but he didn't. Again, though the follow-up was basically nothing in comparison. Great to hear you're not having a bad recovery!
do you think it might be the scarline under the frenulum that made it tight? I am very scared of procedures down there (getting the circumcision was hard enough!) so I hope the tightness goes away. Quick question, after the circumcision, even though your frenulum was tight did it hurt to masturbate and have sex?
I think the doctor just botched that part of my circ. Again though, you won't have a true feel for the result for a couple of months - definitely not til after your staples are gone.
It is a pity that your frenulum was not dealt with at the same time as your circumcision. After circumcision the frenulum is totally redundant as it no longer has a foreskin to act on, so it is desirable that it be removed along with the circumcision to avoid the possibility of needig a second procedure to remove it.
around 2 weeks, erection indeed helped my dick expelling
staplers faster, except staplers on frenulum area.
had my first masturbation on night 18, with generous amount of lube glans rubbing onto palm only without touching the ring where the staplers used to be. a weird but enjoyable experience.
general advise: don't do it if it hurts, stop immediately on slight discomfort. as the owner of a cut penis, you should know your own penis better than anyone. know your penis, take a good care of it and all shall be good.
Thank you! I was also considering masturbation on just the tip, might give it a try during the 3rd week.
Might I ask if your frenulum felt tight after the circumcision? And when the staples fell off did the frenulum feel less tight and masturbation qas easier? Thanks!
I just contacted my doctor a while back and asked about my frenulum, apparently it's very rarely removed in my country (I am from Indonesia) which is why it's intact.
On the topic of your frenulum, if you had to check to see that it's tight, I am guessing it doesn't cause much discomfort? It seems like even though yours is tight, it doesn't hurt and sex is very normal?
It's perfect, no issues 4 weeks after operation, it's been 8 weeks now and it's even better. I can masturbate at the same intensity as pre-op and orgasms are even more intense. It was tight initially but don't worry it should be fine once your penis adapts to its new cut. And it's so much easier to clean! no bad smell and no bacterial buildup.
Unfortunately no, we did not discuss the style. When I am flaccid the skin slightly covers the base of the glan so I think it's loose, which is good since I am a grower.
Also, can I ask what people mean by "when the circumcision scar loosens"? I seem to read that on this forum a lot.
It's a common thing that occurs after circumcision. You don't "lose" an inch, but your erections aren't as large as before because the skin needs to stretch first. Also, since erections typically cause pain during the first weeks of recovery, the brain associates pain with erections. Usually after a few weeks or a couple months the erections grow back to regular size as the skin is stretched and everything heals up.
This is my 15th day of stapler circumcision, silicon ring with staples are out but pin on frenulum, doesn't show any improvement, more over it is going inside, what to do for that? In your recovery also faced same issue? Kindly reply
