Hello!! I recently have a dorsal slit surgery? In all the cases will look that bad ?

I have read that dorsal slit is an alternative to circumcision. you'll retain all the sensitivity you have.

dorsal slit will give your penis that putting on napkin look.

Tbh I am quite curious too about how dorsal slit penis will look like. the article I read on Wikipedia isn't so clear in description and illustration. Maybe you could update us again after fully healed.

Btw, the good news for you is dorsal slit could be reversed.

Wikipedia says reversal is as simple as stitching together the slit after reopening the edges.

dorsal slit is dubbed as non invasive procedure to treat penis infections, I don't think I like the description of how it look though, base on the description I read, your penis will look like putting on a napkin.

but who knows, it's subjective, some people out there love gentleman penis with napkin.

Theoretically it can be reversed, cause no tissue was removed, but I'm only thinking of how the scar is not that elastic than intact skin. And do remember foreskin is double layered skin and some skin has to be removed to get rid off the old scar. Reversed foreskin wouldn't be that elastic and could be a bit tighter than before.

I have read somewhere 'dorsal slit' is common circumcision style in some Asian country. I don't remember which one: Philippines or Indonesia? It's not common here in Europe, nor circumcision either. Don't worry, let it heal first. You'll be fine.

Thanks very much.It was a bad decision but the time cannot be reverse.I will let it healing and if everything will be okey, even if will not look very good, I will let it, but if will be wired ,I will going to do a full circumcision.

don't worry, it's not bad decision. dorsal slit is indeed proven to be effective to treat infections.

if it's me, I'd choose the slit over the hassle of applying steroid cream too.

give it a try, you can always go back or forward since it's reversible anyway. who knows you might eventually loving it.

I had the same op before getting circ, its good i know mine looked the same, in the beginning its a bit horrible to watch but it will get better over time, follow the instructions of the doc you will be good

that was not the case with me, i had problems with my foreskin and that first operation didint help out it still was hurtful for me to retract my skin, so i decided to go for circ

I still had to fully recover from the first op and i remember it the same way you are, it gets better after 2-3 weeks follow what your doc told you. It was other case with me dont worry

The life doesn’t depends by foreskin, anyway ,how is now , like that ugly sensation has disappeared? I was hearing a lot of boys who said that after a time is like they would have the foreskin

Just think that many important and strong mens were circ , and do not worry , I asked a circumcised guy and told me that in the beginning it was really weird but after it was like he didn’t felled it. All good wishes!!

I understand you perfectly. I also had the option to be circ , but you know if you must to do you do , I tried this option to save my foreskin at least we have a healthy penis ha ha ,just read the case of the man without penis who have a girlfriend. If will going to be so bad , I will also go for a circ ,this is the life , we must adapt and ho forward, a lot of great peoples were circed even Jfk Kennedy at the age of 21.
