Itching post circumcision

Has anyone else experienced an intense itch on the circumcised area? I’ve already emailed my doctor just to make sure this is normal, it’s not unbearably itchy just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Btw at 3 weeks post Circ

It’s not even overly worrying just reaching out to check if other people are experiencing it too. Doc said it’s all good

Itching is a normal part of the healing process I'm told. Didn't get it with my circumcision but did with the wounds on a couple of other operations. Apparently if it's itching it's healing well!

Aye I was thinking the same I’ve had work done before and had the same feeling just wanted to check and see if anyone had anything else to say. Doctor said the same thing, cheers mate!

Mine had the itching as well.

and as far as I can remember, every wound on my body always went through that itching phase during healing.

Itching is known to happen on incision scars during healing. It’s part of the process when the skin layer are healing and rebuilding.

im on week three as well and i am experiencing itching as well. its kinda uncomfortable but it goes away by time

I’m about 2 months after Circumcision and struggle sleeping due to intense itching hope it goes soon also I am still very swollen wish I never got it done now ruined my life

Same here man 8 post, I just sprayed the area with warm water to subdue the itching feeling. Also try using Vaseline around the incision area hearing there to keep it moist to the point where it doesn’t itch.

Really glad so many posted about this. I'm literally at 3 weeks as well and the incision site has started to itch and it's extremely annoying but I'm glad it means it's part of the healing process.
