LangHe (CircCurer) method

Hi all,

2 weeks ago I was circumcised using the LangHe (CircCurer) method. I've been reading around these forums a lot and I've noticed that most people who use the "stapler" method are referring to the ZSR method, which uses a silicone ring to bind the staples. The LangHe method uses bigger staples and does not require a ring. Has anyone used this method as well? I couldn't find any posts

I think the main difference are bigger staples and no silicone ring under staples. Silicone ring may help to avoid situation where new skin will grow on staples before they loosened. And right after operation silicone ring may balance the pressure on skin smoothly when the surgeon staunch possible blood flow on incision line. LangHe method is not usual here in Europe. Healing is similar than ZSR anyway.

I wonder how the doctor will remove them if new skin forms on top, I'm quite concerned it will be a troublesome and long procedure

I have had a stapled surgery before and the hospital provided me with a staple remover for the use of the nurse. I had no pain. Have you had advice as to when yours need to be removed from your surgeon?

Any residual staples will be pulled out in just over 3 weeks. As of right now 4 have fallen out, the 5th will fall out soon. I pulled all 4 out myself, the pain was a 3 on a 1-10 scale.

But there are a few that seem a bit to have some skin over them.. which look painful to pull out hahaha

Don't worry it was just a worst case scenario. ;) You may spread petroleum jelly on incision site to prevent scabs and to have a protective layer.

"388/441 (88.0%) who underwent stapler circumcision required removal of residual staple nails. Stapler circumcision is a time-efficient and safe male circumcision technique"

ooh I see, thanks! will that also help prevent skin growth on top of the staplers?

At least you can see what is happening there cause there is no scab on stapler. You can use a gauze or bandage on it too.
