Swollen Corona - Uncircumcised Penis

Around 4 days ago, I pulled my foreskin all the way back (voluntarily).

Almost everything is normal (I pee and ejaculate as I did with my skin covering the glans). I just have the problem of this corona swelling. It's been the same size since the first day, I thought it would cool down but it doesn't. As you can see, it looks weird; I would like someone who knows about this to tell me if this is abnormal and if you have had it before, please share the solution.

I am in fact planning to have a circumcision later this year, but for now I cannot afford it and the lockdown is not making it easier.

On the second day of me pulling back, I could still put the foreskin back to normal, the swollen corona seems like it's part of the foreskin, and it's the one part that takes a few minutes to adjust, but I am able to put it back to normal. I would like to know if I should be concerned about this swelling and if none of the guys pulling back, experienced this situation.

I had the same problem...but took time to heal back.

Please tell me how you solved it.

Did you just leave it and it healed on its own, or you pressed back into the foreskin?

Bring your foreskin back to its normal size...until it's healed.see inbox...

Thank you very much! I was starting to get worried.

Remember that the cause of your problem may not be the same as the cause of the problem that someone else has had. This forum cannot diagnose but that amount of coronal swelling is unusual. You should consult a doctor.

I will. I have noticed my foreskin has become thicker than usual and the swelling seems to be on the lower side of the foreskin, as weird as that sounds.

What you describe is paraphimosis, a condition which could become serious. Get that foreskin back over the corona and leave there until the swelling goes down. If you don't, you could get that circumcision a lot sooner by way of the emergency room. If your foreskin won't recover, get help stat.

I have returned it back to normal position.

I did not suspect paraphimosis because most articles say that the foreskin would be stuck behind, mine is able to go back to normal, and I have brought it back to normal as we speak.

The swelling seems to be lowering down, I now think it was the foreskin that was swollen.

I think I will now prioritize the circumcision.

You caught it in time, in the beginning stages.

Apparently, it's not as big a problem as requiring emergency room circumcision.

Thank you very much!.

Yes, because you caught it in time. Usually, in adults, it doesn't get that far unless the man in incapacitated.

I didn't know. It's hard to tell because I'm the only male in my family and I know nothing about how pulling back is supposed to work.

I now consider myself lucky when I think about the potential damage

If your foreskin is not trapped behind the corona then you do not have paraphimosis. Talk to your doctor.

Thank you for the assistance, I'll go to a doctor as soon as I can

Hi Man, you could have damaged the area around your frenulum when you were pulling the foreskin down which has caused this swelling it is a very sensitive area. it probably would be best to see your GP for a check-up.

The doctor suggested the same. He said he's not certain, but there's great chances that I caused the damage.

I must admit, you freaked me out a bit, but thank you for your advice! it's much appreciated

Sorry man if I freaked you out. I'm sure after a few days rest everything will be fine it is a sensitive area. is your foreskin on the tight side with phimosis?

It's not so tight. Sometimes it pulls back halfway on its own when fully erect. But since what happened, I'm not really sure about the definition of 'tight' and 'loose'

I ended up going to see a doctor yesterday. He said that he also is not sure why this happened but suspects that something made a small cut on my inner foreskin.

Apparently, it can be from fingernails while bathing or inserting condoms, or pubes that came into contact. He said he suspects that I may have been abrupt when pulling back.

He gave me antibiotics and said that if I do want to pull back, I should try it with caution, slowly, and back out if I feel a tear or pain.

He also mentioned that he would recommend an immediate circumcision. I told him I'm not ready right now and that I would be back for that when I am.

He made a few jokes here and there, but I was so nervous and awkward, I didn't find him funny.

I must say though, I thank everyone here that recommended going to see a doctor. The swelling is completely gone now, and I will try to pull back after a week (the doctor suggested allowing at least a week before trying anything).

Thank you all.

I'll look that up. But the doctor said he doesn't suspect a major problem.
