21 years old and can’t pull foreskin back, looking for advice

Hi I’m 21 and I haven’t pulled my foreskin back in several years, and now I can’t do it at all. When I was mid teens I was able to pull it back for cleaning in the shower but at some point I just stopped being able to do it. I’ve tried several times but I can’t do it and I give up pretty quickly.

I’ve started to notice small amounts of smegma coming out of my penis and realised I really need to clean underneath the skin, but I can’t pull back more than a centimetre without it hurting. If I lift the skin away it almost looks like it’s connected to the head, which doesn’t seem right.

Can anyone provide some advice on what may be causing the problem and how I can fix it?

I don't want to frighten you but they *think* smegma MAY be what leads to penile cancer (but in MUCH LATER LIFE, like 40 years of it, don't panic!) so I'd really, really get yourself to the doc. If it's just a tight foreskin, which it probably is as you used to be able to do it (has it grown since then???) rather than healed to the head, then there are stretching options as well as circumcision. Try the less invasive ones first and don't get bullied into a circ right away. If you do end up having a circ, do your research as to how YOU want it, not how the doc wants it. It's yours for life. Good luck.

Science tells us that penile cancer comes from HPV. HPV is acquired by unprotected sex with multiple partners. While much maligned, smegma is merely a sloughing off of foreskin mucosa mixed with sebum. Females produce much more of it and have no incidence of cancer because of it.

Test it in the shower by pinching the opening closed and then peeing. If the foreskin balloons uniformly, there is no adhesion. If lopsided, in most cases, with gentle manipulation, the adhesion can be broken. The tightness can be overcome by applying tension to the opening. phimocure. net offers a set of flesh tnnels specifically designed to cure the problem. Users give good reviews. There are online support groups for discussing use.
