Circumcision 8 months swollen

Hey dudes

I got circumcised as an adult about 8 months ago and pretty happy with the result except a couple of things. First it is still slightly swollen on one side (I am told this is lymph fluid) and second the scar is still pretty raised and hard and dark.

Anyone else get circ'd as an adult still have either of these things and if so did they ever go away? I don't really want it to stay like that so considering revision if it is likely to be permanent.

I posted a pic but you can't really tell where the swelling is from it.

Any help appreciated.

Man its been one year for me and I still swollen. I was told it will go away but it hasn't yet. Doctors don't know why

good luck mate. hope it resolves itself. maybe you need to have a revision?

your's looks really good mate. healed up well. you look like no swelling at all. I hope my swelling goes away soon.

Nice looking circumcision! Maybe a little swollen. BEAUTIFULLY exposed glans. Your surgeon did an excellent job of removing your foreskin.

Looks like a great job. As previously said the swelling will go down and scar is neater than mine!

Quite a few months to reach anything like normal.

Yea I’m at 2 weeks now and still super sensitive ... just trying to gauge how much longer estimate

no problem with the function, just a little swollen and scar is still raised. It's hard to tell from the photo.

yeah i can use it fine I've read it can take up to 1 - 2 years to fully go back to "normal"

i'm not sure what style it is - doc said it was a regular cut. I can't move the skin much over the head, but there is still some movement, which I am glad about.

Did you use any creams?

I used BioOil twice a day for at least 6 months which seems to have helped the scarline (still a bit raised thou)
