2 months post-circ: discomfort, pain, tightness

This picture is of me starting to get hard but as you see the cut seems very tight, it doesn’t expand as my penis gets hard.

That’s not normal right? It’s making erections uncomfortable/painful and masturbating difficult and not particularly pleasurable.

Going back to my urologist tomorrow and would appreciate any views ahead of that. I will be pretty traumatised if this is my permanent future.

I looked at your former posts and pictures. I hope your condition is just a tension of the recent scar and will loosen next few months. My scar line locates further on shaft skin and has tension too, but is not that tight anymore.

My scar took a couple of months to stretch and get comfy. Yours should too

Hi, it does look very tight still see what your surgeon says. I know it does take time for your skin to stretch it should improve but by how much? I found it tight after my circumcision in time though it did improve.

My scar formed also a tight ring 3 weeks after circumcision (but not so much as you). Asked the dr. who gave me betametasone cream, however, stopped using after a few days, not sure because It worked or because night and morning woods stretched it. But It wasn't as tight as yours, It didn't look so strangled.

Update: result was pretty much as others had contributed. Doctor said my healing is going very well, perhaps better than expected, for someone at my stage of recovery. He said it was normal for the cut to have retracted at this stage, and gave me betnovate cream to put on it to help it along. (side note: wish I was told that!)

It’s reassuring at least, but frustrating that there is still a long road ahead. Doctors said I should be in a better position to assess things at 6 month mark.

That's good man it is normal for it to feel tight after a circumcision the betnovate cream should really help, see how it goes in a few months, I used bio oil and loads of erections to stretch my scar it helped me and soften it up nicely but it took about a year to feel normal again.
