I have a urology appointment next week and I was wondering what will happen at that appointment?. First time going to a urologist. The reason I’ve been referred to one is because I have phimosis. Could anyone break down what will happen cause I’m nervous.
Thank you

They’ll examine and diagnose the problem and advise or recommend a course of treatment to which you’ll have to decide whether you want to go with that recommendation, seek other opinions or do nothing.
They’ll just take a look, it’s nothing to worry about. It’ll be like 5 minutes if that. Then you’ll get a pretty-op letter in the mail during which they check your blood pressure and ask you questions. And then wait for a call or letter for the surgery date. I was very nervous at each appointment but it always turned out to be worry for nothing!
