Do you mean the swollen prepuce aka piece of inner foreskin behind the glans? There is a lymphatic system in our body. After circumcision the system went down. It takes time to recovery for transporting lymph again.

How much longer will it take for it to go down?

I'm sorry. I didn't get your thoughts. All we want is that lymphatic fluid will move again. On circumcision the skin were cut and the parts sutured together. The lymph nodes on the subcutaneous skin got obstruction. When to wound get softened it helps. We all are unique. It will get better.

Maybe you can try to put gauze on it overnight. Light pressure on the prepuce remnant and shaft might get fluid on move. ;) It is cheap try. Remember! Not too tight.

First off there is no such thing as "normal". Everyone is different.

The recovery time is anywhere from 4 weeks to 2 years or more.

Don't worry it will eventually turn out OK.

Just my opinion, I'm not a doctor.

Did the doctor say it can take up to 2 years?

in reply to John12123

You will never get a doctor to say that. They will hedge and haw till you quit asking.
