Is it normal to have foul smell after removing shangring (circumcision)?

I've removed my shangring after 7 days and noticed that the wound has a foul smell that doesn't go away, even though I clean it twice a day the smell is present. I'm using antibiotics to prevent infection.

It might be normal, cause of the black skin ring over the wound. I'm on the 17th day Post-op with Alisklamp circumcision. It leaves similar ring than Shang Ring.

Yeah, the smell is normal. It will be there for another week or so. The remaining foreskin goes through necrosis and will fall away. Nothing to worry about. Healing will be another 3 weeks.
