Hello people. I'm new here. I have a prominent vein on my penis shaft when I retract my foreskin. I'm worried. I'm a 20 year old male. I've never retracted me foreskin about an year ago. And when I did I found this swollen vein. Sometimes after ejaculation, my penis hurts. I'm worried help me out. I'm still a virgin.
I've added a picture. Sometimes the vein is bigger than this.

Personally I don’t think it looks bad. I have a prominent vein on my penis (see my posts) and I’ve never had any complaints about it. But probably a good idea to see your doctor to put your mind at rest.
Hi no it does not look bad but it would not hurt to go to docs and get checked then when you do you need to find a nice pussy to to put it in good luck
I agree with others that a doc would be best placed to let you know whether all is well. Ignore the comment about finding a pussy. That will happen if and when you want it to.
Definitely mate go to the doctors they may have to remove it if you have a very hard sex with a woman it could tear you don't want any veins in your penis tearing they are major veins.
Hi Man, we all have our differences in our anatomy if it were me I would have it checked just to put my mind at ease. also some of your foreskin looks quite pale in colour I would have that investigated as well if you were unable to retract your foreskin with phimosis up to 1-year ago it may have caused this discolouration so you should get checked out with your doctor. All the best Man
Firstly you need to know if it’s a known medical condition and then what the prognosis is; will it likely cause issues if left as is or is medical intervention recommended, i.e. vein reduction or removal may be advised at worst.
I’ve never seen anything like this and from comments it sounds like others haven’t either - see a doctor, sooner rather than later (to avoid ruining your sex life).
It's perfectly normal Mine looks the same and has even become much more prominent over the years to where now it's curled to one side. I asked the doc about it because it's gotten almost folded over. He said it's no problem. If I knew how I'd post a pic.
