I have had the outbreak (recurring) for 3 months, but initially thought this was caused by a dermatology skin condition hence when I didn’t get this checked earlier.
I’ve been at the doctor last week who has diagnosed me with genital herpes and given me Zovirax cream.
I’ve been using this for around 1 week and so far there is no sign of them clearing.
Does anyone have advice as to how I can speed up the process of them healing?
I am very concerned now for the length of time they have been there.
Thank you

I have a similar problem, but I have HSV 1, which is the common cold sores that most people have. Do you have hsv1 or hsv2? Get a prescription for valtrex and take 1 gram daily until it goes away completely. I have cold sores on my arm, which I thought was a rash at first, but the valtrex got rid of it, but I stopped taking it and it came back. Definitely talk to your doctor about daily treatment of valtrex 1 gram tablets.
