Day 5 - Tips for better sleep

Hating night time. So afraid of involuntary erections breaking one of my stitches. I have had two comfortable sleeps. Both times I was well bandaged (non-adherent dressings and Vaseline wrapped around the shaft and another dressing in the boxers with Vaseline on it) and slept in the fetal position with a thick pillow between my legs for comfort.

Wound seems to be healing well. Cleaning it in the shower by letting water run over it but it is so sensitive to touch. Obviously still lots of swelling. It’s just a slow recovery process haha, isn’t it?

Make sure you urinate just before bed and empty your bladder as much as possible.
