So as the title says, i was circumcised just under 6 weeks ago. I've always thought that there was a scab that was healing on the incision line that came undone. However today I zoomed in with a camera and as shown on the photo it was a stitch that turned blue. I pulled it out to be safe, and what's left is the picture on the right. Do you guys think this is fine and it will heal okay? And also what's with the lump on the left?
Thanks in advance guys

Hi Man, that should be fine you done the right thing by removing it. it should heal up just fine I removed a lot of my stitches that way. the bump and the left could be the remains of a stitch under the skin hopefully it will dissolve keep massaging it to try and dissolve it.
Do you think there is any way of removing that stitch? (potentially under lump) And with the blue stitch, do you have any idea how it could have got there? if you see my previous posts from say day 19, there was nothing in that area at all. The stitch has somehow appeared over the course of a few weeks
Hi Johnny, the blue stitch probably came to the surface. you can have internal stitches when they are doing the circumcision but they should dissolve though. if the bump is a stitch and it doesn't dissolve it probably will eventually come to the surface as it is not meant to be there. if it is near the surface you could try to remove it or go to your clinic to have it checked and possibly removed.
Thanks for the reply. Thats good to know. I was a little worried as to whether it was just a loose stitch or where it actually came from. I'll have to call up Monday and see what my doctor thinks
