I have just started HRT patches as perimenopausal with lots of symptoms that are becoming unbearable. My question is has anyone experience dizziness with nausea and tiredness?? Got a wee bit of a sore head also. Is this just part of it getting into my system and it will pass?? Hopeful for you advice on this. Thanks ever so much in advance ☺️

It can take about 3 months to settle

🙂 It’s likely it will take a while for your body to adjust…and this will vary person to person. It’s also possible that the same type of HRT may not be suitable for everyone. See the search box top left…type in HRT side effects..you’ll see links to previous discussions.

Hi,

I have been on at least 4 different HRT 2 x tablet form and 2 x patches. I am still very tired , nausea and light headed also. Skin has broken out and due to get light treatment soon. Hand on in there and go back and see GP.

I took the HRT patch too and I felt no difference still felt unwell nausea dizzy and extreme tiredness. After a year and discussion with the GP pharmacist they said there was "nothing else I could try" I did feel sad and didn't bother to tell then I'm sure there are other HRT I could try. (I can't deal with confrontation) maybe that's why I have so much stress in my life...hmm. I had nausea for years. But I've noticed recently it's not so bad. Sometimes stress could be the cause . The HRT patch is a nightmare to getting rid of the sticky substance from my skin. Nightmare to scrub off. Always left bright red marks. I hope u have a better time with the GP. In hindsight I should have gone back to the GP as I felt the allocated pharmacist did not work for me. Look after yourself. 🙂
