Just recently come off HRt at the start felt great but now aches and pains are coming back I worry about heart health with out HRT I have read that if you take HRT 10 yŕs before menopause it helps heart health but what do they say if you start HRT post menopause is there still a risk

I’m almost 20yrs post menopausal, and tried HRT briefly during early Perimenopause…..but haven’t taken it since.

morning I dont want to take it anymore a few symtoms have come back but not enough for me to go back on it the worry I have is alot what I read says increase risk of heart and stroke but it says how long you been taking it and when just underunderstand what that means

🙂 It is personal choice…and sometimes for peace of mind, it helps weigh up the pros and cons by discussing it with your GP.
