Menopause and covid

Hi. I’m 59 & post menopause for years now but had Covid in December and still getting over it. I’ve noticed that I appear to have hormonal symptoms and a pattern. I’m weepy, get blocked, feel slight ovary pain etc. Was wondering if anyone else experienced this after having Covid? I had slight bleeds after each vaccine so am blaming these new hormonal symptoms on having Covid.

interested to hear your experiences.

I had covid this past November. I am in perimenopause. I explained to my dr during the illness I had severe ovarian pain. I usually have severe symptoms every two weeks. After covid perimenopause symptoms came back with a vengeance. I had to increase my estrogen and still not level.

I think Covid can cause or worsen symptoms of menopause/ perimenopause. I had covid in june 2022 , in October 2022 I started having hot flushes and night sweats, I was 38. They disappeared after a couple of months. Later in July/ August 2023 I got the new Covid variant and immediately after it I had much worse hot flushes and night sweats, with some period irregularity, though not reached 40 yet. I think Covid brought about early menopause symptoms for me.

I noticed that when I have had vaccines and I have had my period when I had them done they had made it heavier and last longer!

Hi,I have definitely noticed a change:

I have been racking my brains trying to find a reason for my increased Depression and Anxiety which are so bad and debilitating atm.

I am pretty sure its an hormone issue.

I am going to re-check Estrogen, Progesterone and add Testosterone (which I have never been tested for in UK).
