drenching night sweats

I have been on Hrt for 6 years but drs found a brain tumour last year...it was removed but I have to stop my hrt as the tumour could come back as it feeds on estrogen. I am about to stop the patches after halving them for 2 months. I am having terrible drenching sweats and my legs are so painful and achey they wake me up early hours. Has anyone got anything natural they could suggest please....pretty miserable.

Hi, sorry you are having such bad nights sweats, they really are awful. I have never taken HRT as I take blood thinners, but I take sage tablets to help with my night sweats. They work for me, I take one around the time of my evening meal.

Hope this helps :)

🙂 It’s possible you may not have been offered these alternatives..

Options when avoiding Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Information Leaflet

Hot flushes and night sweats are experienced by many menopausal women for an average of seven to thirteen years, and for some, these can last a lifetime. Women who are seeking to improve these menopause symptoms without using HRT can consider prescribable alternatives.
