newby needing guidance please

Hello all

I am 57 and have been having some difficulty with my health of late.

I went on & came off HRT patches & tablets. ( I came off these because I had numerous problems). I have an under active thyroid and take levothyroxine for this.

I am now noticing my skin is very dry and flaky in parts and I’m sore, tired and putting on tummy weight.

I’ve read about different creams to alleviate these symptoms, but I’m mindful that my thyroid could be affected by doing the wrong thing.

What test could I ask my GP to do in order to get the right cream.

 Thanks Lx

🤔There are Thyroid Support Groups on Facebook

And..if you google Thyroid Support Group, there could be one near you.
