Evorel sequi patches - experiences ?

Hello. Just been prescribed evorel sequi patches for peri menopause symptoms. I'm a little sceptical and anxious about taking them. I've been trying supplements, fresh herbs and tinctures with minimal success. Has anyone tried the patches? If so I would be interested to learn how you got on. Was it a good or bad experience? Thank you for reading 🙏

Hi I have used the patches, they are good, if you can get them to stick. My skin didn’t like the patches caused me irritation after a week or so. I have tried the gel too which is good but there was a shortage which I believe is ok now, but I prefer the spray.

If you are worried because of the bad information out there don’t be the new HRT is more natural and no more of a risk than having a drink being overweight. There are also many more benefits to HRT than getting rid of the symptoms of menopause

Thank you Belle76. I was so determined to try it naturally and feel like I'm giving in but I really appreciate your honest response. Just out of interest, what's the spray you use and do you find it better?

I wouldn’t see it as giving in it’s something our body needs it’s in every part of our body, some people are ok and don’t need anything to help them, some people do. People that are diabetic they need insulin and so on. I had really bad anxiety and panic attacks couldn’t sleep and was so down and that wasn’t me, so I did my research and thought this is what I need and there are multiple pluses to.

The spray I use is Lenzetto, I prefer it as it’s 3 sprays it dries quickly, the gel you have to rub in and let it dry but can still be a bit sticky and if you have to use a few pumps it’s rub in your arms and thighs.

I’m not sure what regime your on or patches as with the gel and spray you will need progesterone too in some form I have utrogestan they are capsules, I take them 14 days on and 14 then not for 14 days as I still have periods, but it just depends on where you at if you have a coil etc

Personally no amount of herbals and alternative therapies helped with my menopause symptoms. HRT was the only thing that gave me some relief. Having said that, I still take herbals, multi vits mins to compliment, not replace, my health routine.

In the end I couldn't take HRT due to fibroids so had to pursue the herbal route. I researched more and took a leap of faith. I take what I call my witches brew of tinctures twice a day. 6 weeks in I feel amazing. All symptoms with the exception of irregular cycle (too early to comment on that) have gone! Fingers crossed they continue to work 🙂

It's a blend of poke root, wild yam, black cohash, motherwort and ashwaganda 🙂

Sounds seriously good! Sadly due to my Hashimoto I cannot take Ashwagandha although it does help with the menopause. Thank you.

probably not the best person in terms of my negative experience with patches!

So a couple of my colleagues are on them and apparently it’s been a game changer for them so they are feeling so much better with patches.

For me personally I moved from gel/utrogestan capsules to everol sequi just a couple of months ago. I noticed my negative mood swings came back in full force but only when I swapped out to the conti patches, nausea, crippling period cramps and extremely heavy bleeds. I also started to feel burning inside but that started just after commencing the patches and after being swabbed was told I have vaginal atrophy. Tbh that was probably going to happen anyway as had other urinery issues prior to starting patches.

So I’m sorry to say after my first month and subsequent heavy painful bleed I ripped off the patch and and haven’t restarted. I’m now trying to figure out what I’m gonna do HRT wise!

I hope though you get on ok, what works for one won’t always work for another it’s so individual.

All the best
