I do have rheumatoid arthritis and have been on for many years without a problem. It’s only been in the last two years that my enzymes have become elevated anybody have any experience elevated how to treat it ?

elevated liver enzymes

Please post your LFT results.
I’ve experienced this and still have elevated GGT., but much lower than previously. I no longer drink (sigh) and take a milk thistle capsule every evening. I also drink a cup of Nettle tea.
Hi i had this and there's various foods and drinks that help, green tea, oats and almonds for example. I googled it and found this out. Ooh raisins aee another one I've remembered. Have a peaceful day 🤗
Hi, I have the same issue, 51 and in peri-menopause. I too have RA and was told that the RA medication can also cause this.
Maybe worth checking with your rheumatologist?
Rheumatoid itself can cause elevated liver enzymes but also the medications taken for it if you are on any can too. Maybe chat to your GP or rheumatology specialist nurse or consultant if it is worrying you but if they are keeping an eye on bloods they may be monitoring to see if they settle themselves.
