How do you effectively communicate with your doctor?

I am unable to decipher what it is that I am doing wrong with my efforts to figure out what ails me and what can be done to fix it, and be understood by my doctor. I am seeing that he is wanting me to find a urologist for bladder prolapse, which he never mentioned to me. My feeling is that he is either an idiot or hoping I will die and not collect SS! I have had pain, nausea, blood, urinary incontinence, urge incontinence as well as kidney stones. I am still in pain and have nausea most days. Is it common to at least shrink fibroid tumors? Does he know if I have cancer?

It’s likely that your doctor is recommending the referral to a Urologist, to investigate any link between your two problems.

Despite the lack of information on the topic, the simple answer is yes, possibly. Due to the fact that UTIs are commonly caused by holding your urine for prolonged periods or not fully emptying your bladder; for women living with uterine fibroids, UTIs could be a common recurrence.
