Hi! I've been in menopause (early) since 45/46. I'm 49 and am having a random period and freaking out. I already have an appointment in two days with and ultrasound, but I'm terrified about what they may find. Any advice, words of wisdom, comfort?
Thanks in advance.

🙂 It’s only natural to be very concerned when this happens, but try to remember that it could be due to one of several causes, and not always the first thought that comes to mind.
Hi there…. Same happened to me period after a long time period less… but it does not have to mean much… wondering what you found out in the meantime? My doc sent me for a vaginal ultrasound to make sure everything is ok, and everything was. So, I guess I am not quite thru the whole process… I am 55 and entered menopause at around 53
Hi! So I wish I had asked the Dr more questions beforehand as I had to do an ultrasound and then a biopsy immediately afterwards. I didn't realize that was a possibility. If I had known, I would have taken something to relax as I waited for an hour in the waiting room before my appointment even started. My uterine lining was 6mm, which is just above the threshold for further investigation. Nothing else was abnormal, but did a biopsy right then, which was quick, but painful. My results came back, took a bit long but all was okay and benign. My bleeding stopped the day after the appointment and just seemed to be a random period. A lot of time spent worrying which is something personally I need to work on. Thank you for the hug! I really needed it.
I’m so glad all came out fine… you will be ok. Are you on any meds. HRT helped me tremendously… and Zoloft as well. Trying to balance everything out… not easy. But most symptoms we have at this age is related to the hormonal shits in our body. It’s really hard to deal with the weight gain, the bloating too…Another big hug to you. Take care of yourself and always me room for ME time ❤️
