Anyone been diagnosed with adenomyosis after menopause

I'm 55, post menopausal and just been diagnosed with adenomyosis, also with fibroids and gartner duct cyst, wondering if hysterectomy is the way to go

I had to go and look up and see what adenomyosis was as I’ve never heard of this. Also didn’t know what a garter cyst was, every day’s a school day! Poor you, by what I can see online hysterectomy may be the best or only real option for this condition but I’m no expert here.

I’m having a lot of post menopause problems too so I totally sympathise.

I have adenomyosis and it’s ruined my life lol my consultant has said the only cure is hysterectomy unfortunately. There is an Endometriosis site on here where we discuss adenomyosis so you may get more responses from there, I am on it and it’s a great community 💛

Thank you, forgot to say I am not menopausal so diagnosed before menopause x
