Reaction to The Vaccination

My brother has a diagnosis of Downs Syndrome. He has had vacant seizures in the past - brief and infrequent. He had the Astra Zenica vaccination and within 10 hours was showing signs of a fever. This brought on his first ever tonic/clonic seizure - it lasted for 5 minutes and was very distressing for him. Our medical support team have been very good afterwards but there was no support to assess the risk of having the vaccine.

In the summer of 2019 my brother spent over 2 weeks in hospital with pneumonia. During that admission his red and white cells caused the doctors a lot of concern and he has had blood tests every 3 months since. The main cause of concern was his immune system and how long it took to recover. The blood test that he had after the vaccine caused seizure showed a shocking decline in his white cell count from the blood test in December. His ability to fight any infection has been seriously reduced by this vaccine.

Please take everything into account before having the vaccine. For some people they are as much at risk from the vaccine as they are from the illness.

Hi, so sorry to hear about your brother, I hope and pray he will be ok. Your post is invaluable to the community and I myself am extremely worried that we are pushing an experimental jab onto those who are most vulnerable. There are no results for any side effects for the learning /disabled community as they weren't part of any trial groups. We have no data on any long term side effects and would ask all to do your research and way up the benefits against the risks of taking it. Love to all.

I’m sorry to hear that. My son had it last Tuesday, being an adult we had little say in the matter. He hasn’t looked “right” since. He goes to a residential college 38 weeks and when we picked him up for half term, I was shocked at his appearance, huge black circles under his eyes and just looked dreadful. Due to a family history of anaphylaxis he has never had a vaccine, this was his first. He’s been home a few days now and has slept a lot and looking much healthier. As he won’t let anyone even touch him, they had to sneak behind him to give him the vaccine. I’m 100% certain he won’t fall for that again and I’m glad.

Dear Samuel 12 , I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I am glad that he is getting good care now. It must be awful for you. Thank you for sharing your experience. Given your brother’s medical history it sounds as though your brother should not have been given the vaccine. It is very worrying that it seems no medical professional considered the risk to him. His bad reaction should be reported to the safety monitoring agency. I also agree with Shue. The ‘vaccines’ have been rushed, and not thoroughly tested. They have also been developed whilst we are still learning about the virus and what it does. There are highly qualified doctors and scientists who have been expressing concerns about them and who might be vulnerable to reacting badly. Unfortunately their warnings appear to fall on deaf ears in those responsible for safety. Please do research before having one. Avoid fact check websites which can be inaccurate. Medical papers and letters in medical journals like the BMJ or pub med can be found online and although some may be hard to understand it is possible to get an idea of the concerns. Med cram is also good.

It is really hard when all one wants to do is to protect ones loved ones. If you feel it’s too risky to have the current vaccines there is evidence that having good levels of Vitamin D is protective and information online about it. Some Irish doctors have spoken out about it and said it is unethical to not be recommending taking it and at a higher level than is recommended here.

I have provided the link to the NHS Website where the usual side effects are and also the link to the vaccines and where you can research them more in depth, there is a also a link for the Yellow card link to report side effects experienced:-

Dear Lyndsey,

Thank you so much for your email. Your words are kind and informing.

I will do some more research.

He had some more blood tests on Thursday. We are not out of the woods yet, but the White Cells have climbed back by 0.1. Only a week but they are going in the right direction. I take heart and we will continue to look after him to the best of our ability whilst his immune system recovers. He has not had anymore seizures.

Thank you again,

Ysanne
