Side effects

Ryan got his first infusion this morning of the ipi/nivo and tonight he already spiked a high fever of 101.9; oncologist on call just suggested Tylenol and to call back immediately if any other side effects such as rash, diarrhea, coughing, urinary issues arise. So far, just the fever. After taking Tylenol about 50 minutes ago, the fever has already dropped to 100.2 which is good.. he stopped the other targeted therapy only a day ago.. so the toxicity is probably high. Keeping a good eye on him. Just updating.

Thank you, the beginning sucks. No sugar coating it. Anxiety is SO high

I will pray that fever goes away and that’s all the side effects Ryan has. Definitely stressful I know. You are doing an awesome job. Hang in there.

Kelly, has Ryan’s fever subsided? How is your anxiety?

He’s doing well! During the day he is fine. At night, like last night he gets cold sweats and gets the chills. But after a dose of Tylenol he ends up falling back asleep!
